Sainte-Luce, Martinique
Les Vendredis is the real life
of a family around a domain in Martinique.
On Fridays, Bolo writes. When the house is free, you can come stay.
Come stay.
The simplest way is to write to Bolo directly. We check the dates, talk a little, and see if the place feels right.

The Domain
Before the A-frame, there is Anaïs's land: the hills of Sainte-Luce, palms, ridgelines, and the feeling of being alone in a piece of Martinique.

The A-frame
The A-frame is one part of the domain: open to the garden, tall under the gable, simple in its use, and always close to the outside.

The Tropical Garden
The garden is what we have most: mango, guava, flamboyant, volcanic rocks, and a piece of hillside that slowly closes around you.

Outdoor Living
Les Vendredis is lived outside: hammock time, breakfast with fruit, pets in the garden, an open kitchen, solar shower, and days that move slowly.

At night
When the garden lights come on, the place changes pace: the covered terrace becomes the main room, the A-frame stays open, and the paths move under string lights.

The Making
The luxury here also comes from time: cutting, lifting, cladding, starting again, and building a place that still carries the hand that made it.

The family
Anaïs, Bolo, Léon & Samsam.
We started working on the place in 2022, bought the A-frame plans from Den, and built it by hand with a few friends over two years.
At Les Vendredis we live outside: Léon runs the paths, Samsam sleeps in the shade, Dimdim the rooster crosses the garden. When we're not here, the place stays open to people who love handmade, simple, slightly slow places.
The journal keeps the notes from the build and the garden.
Around the house
UNESCO Biosphere Reserve
The entire island of Martinique is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 2021 — one of 784 sites worldwide recognised for exceptional biodiversity and commitment to sustainable development.
Les Vendredis is part of this story: a tropical garden, the Montravail dry forest, trails and rivers nearby, hand-built and integrated into the landscape.
